The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach but far enough away from the noise of the parties. The bathroom design was well-thought-out, with an open window and a mosquito net to keep the bugs out. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The value for money was exceptional and we would definitely recommend this place to others. we had a great experience at House On The Bend.

One small drawback was the lack of a hair dryer in the room, but we didn't ask for one so maybe they would have provided it if we had. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a small towel for the bathroom floor as a makeshift carpet, but it didn't bother us enough to ask for one.

our second stay in dickwella and our expectations were exceeded at this little oasis in sri lanka. amazing staff, beautiful rooms with jungle views, short walk to beach and restaurants, and the best breakfast. house on the bend is now our home away from home. can't wait to return.

Chintara and Chip, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants. the owners were kind and honest and provided a delicious breakfast each morning. the rooms were clean and modern, with a balcony overlooking tropical plants. the property felt secure with a gate and someone always present in the main reception area.

The rocky coast in the Kudawella fishing village, just six miles from the hotel, is a natural phenomenon that will leave you in awe. Watching the waves crash against the rugged rocks is a mesmerizing sight that shouldn't be missed.

For dads, it would be great if there was a small playground or outdoor area for children to play.

It was conveniently located, just around 5 minutes away from the beach.

The coffee machine was not being used, so getting a regular Sri Lankan coffee instead was a disappointment. the room itself was quite basic.
